I’ve always loved a white kitchen. We renovated our kitchen in our old house so I could finally have one and then a year later we sold it. I still miss that kitchen but I’m learning to love our new white kitchen and have had fun styling this one. Here are my white kitchen styling tips. Although there are a few more things I’d like to do but that will have to wait.
WHITE KITCHEN STYLING TIPS
The kitchen is where I spend most of my time and I wanted a space that I love and felt like me. I had my friend Bethany, from The Posh Home, help me style it. Bethany has the awesome white kitchen styling tips and since we’ve been friends for years, she knows my style! She picked out some pieces and used some that I already had to add little touches to make this space perfect for me.
I wanted a light color palette with pink, turquoise and gold. I found this gold faucet on amazon one day for a killer deal and I knew it was perfect for my kitchen. When we bought the home, I didn’t upgrade the faucet because I knew I wanted something that made a statement and boy does this make a statement!
I love to sit at the island, drinking my morning coffee and reading my devotional. Although I don’t get to do it as much as I like but maybe one day I will get into a better routine. The tufted bar stools are so comfy to sit in and I love chatting with our guests as I prepare last minute things.
A weekly treat of mine are fresh flowers. I enjoy having them in a vase next to the sink. I usually pick some up while I’m out grocery shopping. It gives that feminine touch and makes the house smell beautiful! I recently took a floral arrangement class and can’t wait to put what I’ve learned to use and make prettier arrangements.
I’ve created a list of everything I used to style the kitchen in case you found something you’d like to add to your kitchen.
