Earlier this month I got the pleasure of attending a dear friend’s daughters wedding. It had been a while since I’ve gone to a wedding and I was excited to get dressed up! I love the color pink and I knew I wanted to wear it since it’s the springtime! My friend Deb, found this pretty midi dress from the Red Dress Boutique and I ordered it right away.

I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about the midi length. I don’t normally wear this length of dress for a couple reasons. The ones I’ve worn tried on in the past made my hips way too accentuated and I’ve often felt short in them because of where they hit me on the shins.
His & her looks

I liked this midi for a few reasons- the color!!! This light pink is so pretty! The cutout between the top and bottom, showing a little skin helped break the look up and accentuated my tiny waist and lastly I love how the bottom is peplum. The peplum brings a little balance to my hips and doesn’t over accentuate them.
I had my husband wear his Navy suit without the jacket. I love how the dark and light colors compliment each other!

My sweet friend Mindy, looked amazing in her navy and green dress! I love how it has long sleeves to keep her warm but is short to show off her amazing legs!
I wish this dress was still available but it sold out so fast! I’ve found a few others for you if you are needing to wear one to a wedding or somewhere else fancy!

I let the dress be the statement of my outfit, I kept the accessories simple and coordinated them with the dress. My bag and earrings both had the same blush pink and my sandals were all neutral!
